Who we are?

  • We are a group of baptized believers in the Lord Jesus Christ who have covenanted together to gather regularly to worship our Lord Jesus Christ, to hear the Word of God preached, to partake in the ordinances of the church (baptism and the Lord’s supper) and to fellowship with one another.
  • We are one family because of the work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross. Even though the language of our worship is Hindi,  we come from different backgrounds, ages, various parts of the country and different languages. And in spite of all our differences, we are one family!
  • We are a Protestant church which is Reformed in its understanding of salvation and baptistic in its church governance. We are an Elder-led Congregational church.
  • If you want to know more about the Lord Jesus Christ, or if you are travelling through Lucknow, or if you are looking for a church that is striving to be faithful and Biblical, you are welcome to join us.

WHY “SATYA VACHAN”?

  • Our Church is called ‘Satya Vachan’ (True Word) not because we claim to be the only true church or the only people who know or teach the truth or even that we are the only ones who speak the truth.
  • But it is because we want our church to be based on God’s Word, the Bible, which is true.
  • We desire to be a church that preaches the Bible, lives the Bible, and worships according to the Bible, which is God’s only true Word, i.e. The True Word.
